Lists and broadcasts
Capturing leads is only half of it. Lists turn the people your funnels and forms collect into audiences you can actually reach. Find them at Portal → Growth → Lists & Waitlists.
Two kinds of list
Section titled “Two kinds of list”When you create one, you choose what it is:
- Contact list: a group you email. Use it for a segment you want to keep talking to.
- Waitlist: people waiting on you. Use it when demand is ahead of your calendar, or when you’re opening a new service area.
Give it a name that will still make sense in three months, and an optional description of what it’s for.
Filling a list
Section titled “Filling a list”There are two ways in. Open a list and use Add leads to pick people from your client list, or point a funnel at the list when you publish it so every opt-in joins automatically. See Funnel templates. A landing page pointed at a waitlist effectively becomes that waitlist.
Emailing everyone at once
Section titled “Emailing everyone at once”Open a list and write a broadcast: a subject and a message. It sends to everyone on the list from your own business email, not from a generic platform address, so replies come back to you. Set that up once in Email alias and sending.
The send is careful on your behalf. Duplicate addresses are collapsed so nobody gets the same message twice, and anyone who has opted out is skipped.
Unsubscribes are handled for you
Section titled “Unsubscribes are handled for you”Broadcasts carry a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it is the whole action: there is no form to fill in and no account to log into. Anyone who opts out is skipped on future broadcasts and follow-up sequences from that list, while the things they asked for, such as booking confirmations and receipts, still arrive.
You don’t have to maintain that list yourself.
Where the people come from
Section titled “Where the people come from”Lists draw on the leads already in your client list, so anything that captures a lead feeds them: Funnels, Forms and quizzes, and Lead magnets. Manage the individual records themselves in Clients and leads.
