Invoices
Portal → Invoices is where you bill for your work. Build an invoice from your client list, send it as a secure pay link, and watch it move from draft to paid. Three counters across the top keep the score: collected, outstanding, and how many invoices are still open.
Building an invoice
Section titled “Building an invoice”Choose New invoice and pick a client from your list. Their name and email fill in, and the finished invoice appears in their private hub. For a one-off client you haven’t saved, type a name and email instead.
Then add line items. Four presets cover the usual work (mobile draw, additional patient, after-hours, and STAT), and one tap drops in a description and a starting price you can edit to whatever you charge. Add as many lines as you need, set a quantity and price on each, and finish with an optional due date and a note such as Net 14, thank you. The total updates as you type, and Create draft saves it without sending anything.
Getting it paid
Section titled “Getting it paid”Open an invoice and every action is in one place:
- Send emails it to the client and marks it open. The same button re-sends it later.
- Copy pay link hands you the link to paste into a text or a chat.
- PDF downloads a printable copy.
- Mark paid closes it out when someone hands you cash or sends a transfer.
- Void cancels an invoice you no longer want paid, and drafts can be deleted outright.
Your client opens the pay link to a clean page carrying your business name, the line items, the total due, and a pay button. Once payment clears the page confirms it with a thank-you, and the invoice flips to paid on your side too.
Taking card payments online
Section titled “Taking card payments online”That pay button needs a payment account of your own, so the money lands in your balance rather than ours. Set it up in Portal → Account → Payments. See Connect payments. Until you do, you can still send invoices and mark them paid by hand.
