Booking calendar
Your calendar is your paycheck: every open slot is time a client could be booking. Lab In A Box gives you self-scheduling from the Starter plan up, so people pick a time that is genuinely free instead of trading messages with you. Everything lives in Portal → Appointments.
Create a meeting link
Section titled “Create a meeting link”Under Meeting links, choose New link and set:
- Title and description: what the appointment is, in the client’s language. Line breaks are kept exactly as you type them.
- Duration: from 15 to 90 minutes.
- Location and timezone: the timezone is your business clock, the one your availability windows are measured in.
- Weekly availability: switch on each day you work and set a start and end time.
- Booking rules: minimum notice in hours, how many days ahead people can book, and a buffer in minutes after each appointment so you have time to pack up and drive.
- List on the public booking page: leave on for anything you want advertised, or switch off to keep a link private but still shareable.
Save, and the link is live. You can disable, edit, copy, or delete any link later; deleting one leaves appointments already on your calendar untouched.
What the client sees
Section titled “What the client sees”Clients see your open times in their own timezone, pick a slot, and give their name, email, phone number, and the address where you should meet them, plus any note. You both get an email straight away, theirs including add-to-calendar links and a link to cancel. A reminder goes out around 24 hours before.
Keep it on your own calendar
Section titled “Keep it on your own calendar”Your booked appointments show on the board at the top of the page, newest first, with the invitee’s details. To see them alongside everything else in your day, open Availability and links and copy the private calendar feed URL at the bottom. Add it once as a calendar-by-URL subscription in the calendar app you already use, and every confirmed booking shows up there automatically.
Next: Share your booking link, and put a Book button on your profile website.
